REVISING URR!

I was not prepared for the extreme frustration in revising an essay. I am currently still revising my expository and turned to the blog for a break. Seriously though, high school really underestimates revising. In high school once you have finished a draft you're pretty much set to hand it in as a final with a few grammatical corrections. College is just the opposite, a draft is considered to be the mere beginning of your final essay.

  1. We did the same thing in my high school. We would just have someone go over our essay and fix a couple grammer issues, but that was all. It's a pretty big step from high school level writing to college level writing.

  2. I completely agree with what you are saying as well. All of these revising methods are completely new to me, that is why I don't think I am reaching my full potential on the essays that I am writing. Their is so much detail that is placed with these essays to make them perfect that I never new about. I do have to say that these methods will more likely than not help me in the long run though.
